Islamic education & programmes (Madrassa)

Muslim Communities

The Arabic term ‘madrassa’ comes from the root word ‘darassa’ which is a verb that means to teach or to instruct. It is for this reason that we use the term ‘madrassa’ when describing a school in the Islamic context. It’s extremely important that Muslims in all communities are equipped with Islamic knowledge, as this knowledge has a powerful effect on the human being.

It’s clear that in a day and age where Islamaphobia is at its highest world-wide with the threat of terrorism and where ignorance among Muslims is rife in the community, there’s a strong cry for enlightenment and moral support. So we have three ‘jamat khanas’ to help with this challenge that’s facing our Muslim brethren in under-privileged areas who don’t have access or means to educate themselves Islamically. ‘Jamat’ literally means ‘gathering’ and ‘khana’ means ‘house’ therefore we use the term ‘jamat khana’ to refer to each of our centres where we run our madrassa support.

In conjunction to more classical training, Islamic Based Youth Camps for the Youth are established and they encourage the ideals of the Holy Quran sent to Prophet Muhammad SWS and his Sunnah for the benefit of mankind. By ‘sunnah’ we refer to the preferred lifestyle habits and advice of the Prophet SWS which encourages healthy living in all aspects of life. In the same place as our ‘jamat khanas’:

All Praise be to God

Islam has been better understood in the areas and given the discussion regarding Islamic studies and the implementation of values from the Quran itself, it is only right and fair to say “al-hamdulillah” (All Praise be to God). Allah SWT Should be Praised as He Deserves to be Praised, without His Help and Mercy none of the previously mentioned would be established today.

Your assistance matters

We don’t charge our students so we require assistance to further empower them in both an Islamic and Mainstream Education to improve our nation. What kind of future do we have if we don’t educate our people in need and in life.
