The festive season is the season for kindling the fire of hospitality and to reignite genial flame of charity in the heart

25 December, day known to many as “Christmas Day”. A day celebrated with loved ones in homes filled with laughter and the warmth of love of a family.

Well not everyone is fortunate enough to commemorate this day with joy and banquets due to circumstances beyond their control. Many individuals have no families, no money or a loved one to share this auspicious day with them. We at the Mustadafin Foundation belief in our motto of “if every man helps his neighbour then who will need help.”

Mustdafin Foundation will be one of the NGO’s making this day special for over 1500 people who are left alone or have no food in their homes this festive season.
This includes 2 old age homes, the Owl Haven Night shelter, residents of Parkwood, Hanover Park and Vygekraal, Samora Marcel, Mbeki Informal Settlement.

350 people will be hosted with a sitdown lunch at the Turfhall Hall, corner of Turfhall and Belgravia Road on the 25th December 2014. Our guests will be treated for the day with a four course menu and more.

Mustadafin Foundation has also distributed food parcels to the value of R300,00 each for 1570 families in Mitchells Plain, Khayelitsha, Delft, and many more areas

Sharing should be forever not just for a day. Giving, sharing and loving are not to dissplayed as bells, lights, and tinsels and the stored some box upon a shelf. The good you do for others , is good that you do for yourself.
