Recycling is the nature of our business at Mustadafin Foundation as we take whatever you bring us breathe new life into it, redistribute and reuse it in the broader community. But we’ve taken this to a new leve by actively engaging with Collect-a-Can to recycle food and drink cans – a “green” project that not only saves the planet but also generates an income.
We are pleased to announce that neighbouring businesses Wembley Road House and Kaprinos Express have partnered us in this effort. Funds raised in this project will go towards the costs of our various feeding schemes. In Tafelsig and Montrose Park, beneficiaries who cannot afford a nominal donation, in our feeding schemes “pay” there way by bringing in empty cans in exchange for a warm nourishing meal daily.
